London !  what a ball with balls . Special thanks to the generous Jonny Woo for putting us up, having beautiful long legs and an enlightening performance and thanks to  the Macbeth for it’s transformation from me local pub to a proper venue- & the Sharp Shock night.  ! I loved the crowd and the performances by the sexidelic Geo Black Peter ( who also designed the invite) , Shane Shane ( “who’s butt is no longer a homeless shelter”, the gazelle-like Colin Self, the wonderful band of Alexander Geist , legendary Lavinia, Thanasis Petroyiannis , Earl Dax ( who dosn’t pay performers but says he will)   and several others whom i missed while putting together my set! the after hours turned into somewhat of a rotten karaoke because  I had to teach the ADD youth what a chord change was -they had a hard time  understanding basic music theory and to wait for the “ah moment” ( chord change). other than that, everything was sunshine. shame I had to get back to nyc the next day. London- bring me back sooner next time!  -lady kier

So many times when i’d see Belita at a p-funk show, I would sing this song to her and she would roll her eyes and tell me how embarrassed she was because she was singing out of her range , didn’t like the mix, and had moved on from this sound and production but I’d tell her what and inspiration this recording was to me . I can’t listen to it now because i won’t stop crying but I hope you enjoy hearing another side of Belita Woods . She was temperamental and yet extremely warm hearted and I could stare at her beautiful face and natural style forever. i’ll miss you my dear. R.I.P. and dont scrap with Garry too much when you jam up in those clouds.-lady kier

I’m in shock. Belita Woods - you left us too soon. so many sides to your talent. I just posted your picture yesterday !!!!!!!!!!  here’s one musical side to her which inspired a whole new genre-“high energy” which  Sylvestor covered  and then jumped onto this  sound  which developed his own direction. so humble, feisty, fiery, hilarious, warm and a voice like none else-instantly recognizable.It’s so odd that I just posted a picture  praising her and Kendra YESTERDAY. BERLIN , GERMANY  May 3rd 2012

before tweaking Monster ronson’s we went to see Peaches opera of Orpheus in Berlin! what an impressive interpretation- thanks to Earl Dax  and x-patrioch. And…yes…that;s Supa DJ Dmitry- now living in Berlin and a brand new daddy. I didn’t meet the little tyke but sure was happy he showed up to my gig. The new deee-lite album will one day see the light of day. special thanks to King Khan for sharing his new jams with me-a real inspirational blend of himself, his daughter, Jimmy hendrix and the Stooges- but original and a real unexpected treat. also a shout out to Eric d clark who’s been working on the new Sylvestor musical!!! -  lady miss Kier 

RETURN TO LONDON 

here I am playing at Horsemeat disco i the early 2000’s. i played there 3 times  including their  opening night in Soho as well as the opening night in Vauxhall.  There’s also a photo here  from club 303  and then in my home studio just down the street  from where I’ll be playing May 12th  at The Macbeth ,  70 Hoxton street   with the Pussy Faggot Possee. Backstage Hacienda ,Manchester 1990!   Our first show abroad ( half track act ,half live ) ,thanks to Mick Jones ( the Clash, Fun Boy Three)  who had the insight to bring us over as an opening act  for a rave ,we were able to add a couple other shows  at the last minute. The first one being at the legendary hacienda ,  I headed to the dance floor after the show and thru the swirly smoke and strobe lites,I noticed that this dance floor crowd was no ordinary group of steppers I had seen before. it seemed like each was in their own world, arms reaching up to the sky, like moths to a flame in some sort of ecstasy. After trying to connect ,It dawned on me , they were all high  on the same drug  and at the same time. hmmm..????…in NY  drugs were on every street corner but not so dominant in the clubs. Next day ,we played London and I noticed the  same thing down there.  when we returned to the states -we went right to san francisco and as we entered the club ,someone handed me a note that said “drop the E at 12: 15”. wow- we  entered a new era of niteclubbing.  the rave scene spread quick and we were in the middle of it. we hit the stage at 12:30 and it seemed like everyone  else hit the ceiling at the same time . thanks Mick - your’e timing was superb as it was the week our first whitelabel had dropped and the B side was setting dance floors on fire around the world simultaneously. I’ve been back to Madchestor many times but this was a night to remember. Mother’s Ruin vs. Pussy Faggot @ Islington Mill, Manchester, UK

 Last Time i sang in Paris was at the legendary BOBINO in 2006 and performed several of my new unreleased disco trax.  The techno/hard house  crowd didn’t quite know how to react to our UNIQUE sound , but we let them have it…..as much as you can while doing a track act with no spot light ,monitor,or  sound mixer. I learned from that and decided it’s better to be on time than ahead of your time. A little humiliation is good…..being ahead of your time  doesn’t  pay, but the ability to polish a show on an unsuspecting audience is how i grow as an artist. It’s part of the process . I learn from mistakes such as being sooooo independent as to not even have a booking agent. Its not the best situation financially , but it has allowed  total freedom and not having to turn down gigs that the agent wants you to play every weekend. As this crowd was not nearly ready for disco , I vowed not to do any more track acts until my album is released and  to play ALL LIVE with my band-who are the hotness!!!!  These trax are still unreleased!!! Modern music biz is not easy. Until i work out the financials to pay my band …I’ll continue to  fund my  writing and production with DJ sets…so come check me , MAY 5th at Trou Aux Biches vs. Pussy Faggot @ LaJava, Paris, FR  - - -Lady Miss Kier 

photos from 2002!    I’m so glad to return to Ireland to play some music …last time we picked up this kilt for Jerome “sweettoof” Rodgers ( P-funk keys ‘1979-present) in 2002  from the Mcgregor klan and I believe the dj shots are from a gig in Cork in 1999. ah…..rolling green hills, ivy, those yellow flowery bushes that smell like coconut but have thorns,grannies in huge 4 wheel drives,…..watch out DUBLIN….it’s getting ready to go off at BITCHES BE CRAZY May 6th  when i hit the dex   for the Pussy faggot tour with some special NYC performance artists sharing the stage such as colin Self, mr. sexiness Geo Black peter, Shane Shane, and more- Lady Miss Kier  

 I would love to post something from Coati Mundi’s new album “Dancing for The Cabana Code in The Land of Boo-Hoo”  but You tube has nothing posted yet to share …  so instead here is a classic from one of the founders pf Doc Buzzards savanna band and Kid Creole and the coconuts, so if you havn’t heard his new classic album on RONG records….go get it!!! His  partner in chime , August Darnell has a new album out this year and I highly recommend that as well. I bought it from iTunes and then one week later my computer crashed so I need to buy that again before i can recommend my personal top picks  but loved what I heard - lady Miss Kier 

 Mother natures heart is broken again!  - yet …. she will have the last word. I pray he learned from his  mistake .it reared it’s ugly head only weeks after he gave them their blessing  . ooooops. I still support Obama but he should listen to his gramama Cause  hey  ya’ll , BP, done effed up our food chain and think they  ” so far” got away with it , but not for long…. please…….we are soooooo on to BP’s lies !  I stopped eating seafood after the Brittish Co.’s  BP oil spill in our Gulf coast….several everyday people actually asked “why?” …well here’s “why” , only 2 years later   and fish are born with no eyes and  smell like patroliam ( sp ) oysters are GONE , lion fish thrive in this pollution eating up  important little fishies of the food chain . Many species  with mating difficulties and off-spring that proves the consequences of environmental ignorance and greed. .-   if only the US had  turned off their tvs  faster than molasses and checked out the real news online  from scientists where heroes like Kindra Amesoens’s  spoke the truth - a true american patriot- I hope she and her children are safe as they were obvious targets  from this multibillion-dollar  brittish co.  who will lie thru their crooked teeth to  convince the U.S. public  that it’s “OK” to eat seafood. the few scientists’s that have not been bought off are standing up!!!!!!  - to be continued- Lady Miss Kier
