"ooh ooh child"…i remember like it was yesterday…..i was 7 years old and my parents had recently  divorced leaving me heartbroken….we were driving somewhere in a volkswagon with about 8 people in it…..me being the youngest….i was all the way in the back back. This song came on the radio and i felt like they were singing it to me…after all how many songs are written to children ….it was another version than this …the five stairsteps  ?  but it hit me like a ton of bricks and as i held back the tears….I  knew "someday things would get brighter" - Lady kier
