I was shattered but decided to turn my tragedies into gold..like an alchemist. an alchemist of LOVE trys to change for the better …sometimes her lover  …but to fully love , you must accept them as they are ,and only try to help them change the little things that they want to change themselves. If that fails…recognise..you can only try and change yourself. I have 2 father figures .1 was born in Zimbabwe, fought for the revolution at the tender young age of 14 , after his father was murdered, became a professor at 23 and was the first man who showed me unconditional love by speaking to me with genuine interest , holding my hand as we crossed the street, exchanging stories about standing up to our teachers contradictions , trying to make me laugh and appreciate the mysteries of life & love as a youth , and the OTHER was a character from a book/movie that I never even met, he never held my hand, or spoke a word to me: Atticus!!! i love you both , forever for being kind, caring, courageous gentlemen .-lady miss kier …www.ladykier.com

communication breakdown !!!!!!  help …..we’ve got to find a better way- Lady Miss Kier 

I don’t like to argue when it crosses the line from a productive debate  but I also don’t like to back down to injustice or misunderstanding  if I think it will help in the bigger picture .  when is it time to walk away ?   the purpose of an argument is to resolve a disagreement and is just as wonderful if resolved by agreeing to differ than trying to get both sides to agree on everything  . Running in the same circles with the same harmful fighting techniques …is counter productive. The art of dissagreeing’s just that ….an art. it dosn’t have to get ugly …when it does.. walk away until things cool down.  if it can’t be resolved later and a pattern repeats …than I try an entirely  different approach..like writing an email . Disagreement’s are natural and opinions are valuable. Communication is key…there are too many people walking around feeling bad ..just because they decided not to talk about the hurtful things that were said to them or that they said to another. 9 months later ..acting like nothing happened is even worse. Words of hate just echo in the canyons of our hearts. i aways ask afterwards…did you really mean that ? I get specific too ,because names can attach themselves to your inner beliefs…. they may be true or just myths.  sticks and stones won’t break my bones but stick around to hurt me. i’d rather be punched than verbally insulted…a bruise goes away in a week and eventually the victim wakes up and has a tangible visual reason to walk …but words are much more damaging as they take years to forget . i can forgive insults spewed in a heat of passion but i never forget them if one dosnt clarify if they were meant or not . very sad -lady miss kier …www.ladykier.com
