 Motherfucker was a fun party and  was still kicking strong with the lunitic fringe litterally laying on the floor after 7 years.  The band played a  kickin set , and i enjoyed playing  with DJ ROK .The crowd was enthusiastic and i played a lot of Acid , Todd Terry , MC Ade ,Cubic Zirconia, Ebony Bones, James Pants.  Pam Hogg made my night by accompanieing me and being one of the most beautiful woman in the world that I know. A super hero .  it was wonderful to reunite with Gizella and Simon !   xoxoxo

I heard that when he died he  gave back all of   Sly Stone’s publishing in his will. I wish I could take back every  witch-hunting remark  I made about this saint.

P-Funk tore the roof off BBQueens on sunday night Feb 21 .  They played a 3 1/2 hour set and had nearly the entire band this time. Here are a few photos from last night and a few i have taken of them over the last decade.I wish I could post more  but there is a limit to tumblr. Noone up here could ever lose the funk even if they tried - that’s for sure .

The ART was SMART  at the BANZAI party curated by !Muffinhead and Eric Schmalenberger. I’m not used to meeting club creatures that have PHDs.  Not only was the crowd, music, performances, and visuals a magnificent lift-up to life  it was walkable from my new neighborhood . it was a Crown Heights affair baby . I fell asleep dreaming about slum of my new neighbors,Leroi the Girl Boi,and Soigné Deluxe and  woke up with a surprise phone call from Jerome who just landed in beautiful downtown Newark  so  I guess i’ll be going to the p-funk concert tonite after all, at BB KINGS.  rock on till the break of dawn silva…….KK
